Purchase Policies
We reserve the right to reject any order or limit the quantities of any order without explanation. Notification of such actions will be sent via email to the address provided in the order or through a phone call.
Pricing
Prices are exclusive to purchases made through the platform. They are subject to change without prior notice and do not include VAT or shipping costs. VAT will be added to the total based on current regulations in Costa Rica.
Payment Methods
All payment methods are subject to verification and authorization. The authorized payment methods on the platform are:
Credit and Debit Cards.
Buena Vida Coffee Roasters is not responsible for the use of stolen credit cards, as our platform cannot reject a sale when the issuing bank has authorized the transaction and the information entered in our system matches the registered data.
Shipping and Pickup:
In-store pickup at Buena Vida Coffee Roasters in Rohmoser is free of charge. To use this option, the customer must select “Pick up in store” during the checkout process.
Home delivery within the Greater Metropolitan Area (GAM) has a flat rate of ₡3,000, and deliveries outside the GAM have a cost of ₡4,000.
Shipping to the United States is available, and the cost varies depending on the total weight of the package.
Delivery times may vary due to circumstances beyond our control, such as extreme weather conditions or unforeseen events.
Privacy
All information provided by customers when registering or making a purchase will be treated with absolute confidentiality and privacy. This information is not shared with or sold to third parties. Buena Vida Coffee Roasters only stores the following customer information:
Personal Information: name, physical address, phone number, and email address.
Returns and Exchanges
At Buena Vida Coffee Roasters, we do not accept returns or exchanges once a purchase is made, as our products are perishable and roasted to order to ensure maximum freshness.
However, if your order arrives damaged or with defects attributable to shipping, we will gladly replace it at no additional cost. To request a replacement, you must contact us within 48 business hours after receiving the product, attaching a clear photo of the damage and the corresponding order number.
